Beijing Day 1

So.. aft onli spending one 'tourist' day round shanghai.. in which i seriously did not cover much..

---i left for beijing..

1 hr 40 mins domestic flight from Shanghai up to Bei Jing

My flight got delayed.. So.. 1 hr of pure boredom... non stop flipping of magazine.. chat on the hp..time is hard to kill when u r all alone...

I seriously think all these china people has some attitude/character problems... wats the rush to get down when the plane havent found a spot to park?????madness.....

Finally.. i reached beijing.. n met up with yangyang.. (made in beijing)

.. i m so glad she went to uk for good n came to sg to work .. not staying in a place like beijing.. behaving like one of them!!! haha

Well, seriously she comes back to beijing once a yr, she knows nuts about tourist attractions nor anywhere that we can go visit..

it seperates this lil area from beijing station area.. a really long walk to get to the other end to cross over the wall zone...

So, we took bus from our beijing station area down to Tian Tan.. An ancestrial hall surrounded by a huge area where old folks hang around day to day.. may it be to dance, play chess, do some knitting or sleep..ZZZzzzzZZzzzz

Finally... we went for dinner at this place call Duck King. yea

Well, basically pls book in advance for all these peiking duck places.. cos they r really popular!!

After dinner, we head down to the tourist famous Silk Market, its like thailand bangkok.. repeatitive stuff like clothings accessories ..but more expensive..

It was really cool tt nite.. 21 degrees... had a slow walk and took a cab back to our lil hotel.. long day ahead of us tml.. so tts it for day 1 beijing ... 99

Shanghai Day 3

It was a monday n Xiong Xiong brought me out to see shanghai....

1st Stop.. Chen Huang Miao..
They r preparing for the 'Dumpling Festival'.. tuan wu jie

Famous Gold Smith shopz... all around...

Its a total lil big town on its own.. its huge
Tourist alley.. this stretch is filled with stuff to slaughter the tourists.. worth a look thou..
